Why should we do MBA?
Up to my knowledge there are two categories here.
1) What we know/ what we are best at / what is the path should chose in life?
To know the above three things this category people want to do MBA. Its simple, by doing MBA in a very good institute probably change your state of mind. You will come to know where actually you are heading in your life. May be you are unclear now, but I am sure while you are taking up MBA and doing most of your questions about your future will be resolved.
2) I feel I am good at management
This is one another kind. Some people are borne managers. They have all beautiful managerial skills articulated together. From being LKG to their Graduation they might impress so many of their colleagues/classmates with their incredible managerial abilities. So they are born to do MBA.
You may get caught up with one doubt, Why should this kind of people actually wanted to do MBA when they have so called incredible managerial abilities. Fine, though they have good abilities genuinely but still MBA education is a process which keep the momentum alive. Which will keep a candidates abilities in right direction.
Because of myriad reasons we may not study MBA after immediate graduation. Some of them because of non supportive family / financial stardom. Yet the hungriness to do MBA and chose a wise career always rattles in mind. Doing MBA is not a big deal in India. You can find a B school in every street in metro cities. Where you are doing MBA matters.
CAT,XAT,IIFT,SNAP,IRMA,MAT are some of the popular entrance tests for doing MBA.
